Spaghetti and Meatball DinnerCLIFTON PARK – Boy Scout Troop 45 is hosting an all-you-can-eat Spa-ghetti and Meatball Dinner from 5-7:30pm on Saturday, March 9, at the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church in Clifton Park. The church is lo-cated on Route 146 (2 mi. west of I87-Northway –Exit 9) directly across from the entrance to the Shenendehowa School District Campus. The Dinner Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert, and beverage. No reservations are required. Take-out is available. Cost is $8 for Adults; $6 for children ages 4-10; children under 3 are free; and there is a maximum fam-ily cost of $25. Self-Therapy for the StuttererCAPITAL REGION – Self-Therapy for the Stutterer is the clas-sic self-help guide by the founder of The Stuttering Foundation, Malcolm Fraser. Not every cyclist obeys the rules. In many major cities, cyclists routinely ignore traf-fic lights while repeatedly failing to make proper hand signals. That’s especially disconcerting in cities like New York, where special bike lanes have become the norm on some of the city’s busiest streets.

Sharing the road safely re-mains a concern for motor-ists, cyclists and pedestrians. If bicycle riders do their part to obey the rules of the road, fewer altercations and acci-dents may occur.

Deciphering Digital Communications

Have you ever wondered how some people are such wizards on iPads, Droids, and other mobile tools, bus-ily posting away on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and all sorts of strange sites with exotic names? You’re not alone. I confess it wasn’t all that long ago when I was scared to death of delving into the social media world. Today, digital communication is my number one meth-od of reaching friends, family, colleagues, and even employees! Many of the Chamber’s programs are now directed by digital communications. For example I can put out a call for volunteers or an event announcement on Facebook and quickly get a large response. The key is to know and understand the best digital applications for your situa-tion. To help business owners and interested citizens figure that out, the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County and the Burnt Hills – Ballston Lake Business and Pro-fessionals’ Association (BPA) are proud to present a seminar entitled “Digital Com-munications: Building Your Arsenal To Mobile & Online Success”. This presentation, featuring local experts, will take place at the Ballston Spa National Bank building, 990 State Route 67 in Ballston Spa, on Wednesday, March 6th from 8-9:30AM. Panelists include Peter Dean of RenderTribe, a Saratoga Springs-based digital marketing company, Kim Hickok of Web Instinct, a web development company, and Rick Noel, of eBizROI, an internet marketing service provider. The discus-

sion will be moderated by Nigar Hale, MBA, the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County’s Vice President of Marketing and Membership Development, and President of the Amer-ican Marketing Association, Capital Region Chapter. This is a great cast of experts, all heavily involved in the south-ern Saratoga business community and well versed in the most effective digital communications strategies for local entrepreneurs.
