COMPANY PORTFOLIO
Introduction
GVJ Electrical and Instrumentation Contractors (Pty) are electrical contractors
and we specialize in electrical reticulation for industrial and commercial
projects. Our focus is in the Mining Industry and Power Generation, including
Wind, Solar, Hydro, Gas and Coal generation. This entails procuring and
installing LV and MV cables, wireways, transformers, VSDs, MCCs (Motor
Control Centres), DBs (Distribution Boards), MV switchgear (Incl. RMUs and
Minisubstations), PLC Panels, Small Power (Lighting and socket outlets),
Containerized Solutions (MCCs, PLCs, Generators etc), Process Instruments,

Key to service Excellence:
• Human resource practices to promote employee upliftment.
• Active retention of existing customers.
• There is attention to details regarding the quality of staff and the resources
needed to deliver the above.
To sum up our leadership approach and the creating of a successful environment in
the organisation we quote Jack Welsch, CEO of General Electric:
“The three most important things you need to measure in a business are
customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and cash flow. If you are growing
customer satisfaction, your market share is sure to grow too. Employee
satisfaction gets you productivity, quality, pride and creativity. Cash flow is the
pulse – the key vital sign of a company.
6
Conclusion
Customer satisfaction is the key to having the competitive edge
In an ever-changing industry, the company, as any other organisation, is compelled
to transform to survive.
Companies that want to win the game through value innovation, with leaders who are
committed to the inherent competitive advantage of their people, fully accept that
customers will ultimately only be loyal to themselves.
This means strategically managing customer value throughout the organisation.
Superior value delivery builds customer loyalty, which in turn contributes to market
share growth and improved profitability.
Strategic approach to managing market perceived value
Customer and stakeholder’s needs and competitive value perceptions define the
criteria for organisational success and how our organisation performs.
Creative strategic thinking identifies the goal posts for the future and the challenges
to be met along the way.
Effective market focused improvement closes the gaps between the future and your
current competitive reality.
The extent, to which measurement, strategy and performance are integrated, aligned
and implemented based on value innovation will separate the leaders of tomorrow
from those that follow.
