and how to find and download full text articles.

In some cases when you select the full text option

it may ask you to log in… look for the ‘log in via Athens’ links. Your Athens details will not work if you put them

links.

TASK 1Optional Task:

The purpose of this task is to allow you to practice accessing the e-journals and full text articles.

You will need your Athens username and password.

Search for a journal using any of the search options. Remember you can access the journals either from the Library Webpage or from NICE Evidence Search.

Navigate your way to the journal contents and select an article. Open the full text article.

TASK 2Optional Task:

The purpose of this task is to allow you to practice accessing eBooks and to allow you to become more familiar with using eBooks.

Go to the eBooks collection and search for a book using any of the search options. Remember you can access the eBooks either from the Library Webpage or from NICE Evidence Search.

Select a book and spend some time using the different navigation tools.
