A “FEW” LESS WORDS FROM FR. ROBERT
Fr. Robert was away at a Franciscan meeting in Baltimore last week. He's back home now and his words will be back in the bulletin next week.
NEW WELCOME MINISTRY
St. Anne is blessed to have new families register with our parish every week and we need to make sure we are doing a great job of welcoming
them to our church! We want to develop deeper relationships with our new members and make them feel welcome and “at home.” To do this
we have created a Welcome Ministry. If you are an individual or a family and you would like to mentor newly registered members, we could use
your help! As a mentor, you would introduce yourself at an initial meeting, sit with your new member(s) at Mass every so often, answer any
questions they might have about the parish, and, in general, just be a guide for them in their rst year at St. Anne. God commands us: “You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.” What a wonderful opportunity this could be to grow in your faith by following God’s directive to love your (new)
neighbor! If you or your family would like to sign up, please call or email Kimberly Kaup in the parish oce at 706-561-8678 or
RCIA 2018-2019 IS IN THE BOOKS!
"As we gather this Wednesday, June 5th, it's hard to believe that our newly initiated Catholics are reaching the end of their time together in
RCIA. Over the last 8 or so months, we have looked at various aspects of the Catholic faith, asked questions, and discussed what it means to
be a member of Christ's Church. In 30 meetings we have prayed, laughed, cried, grappled, and re-ected a lot. It has been an honor to walk
alongside each one of these candidates as they begin their time in our community. My hope is that the parish family will receive them with
open arms as they continue to grow in their faith here. We will conclude our time together on June 5 with a Mass in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel
at 7:30pm; all are invited to participate!" ~ Fr. Manny
Enjoy some photos from this past year in RCIA. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming Catholic, visit our parish website

As Christians, we must protect our most vulnerable among us, our

causes enormous pain, anger and confusion. To report sexual abuse

STEWARDSHIP SPOTLIGHT
Media Ministry
If you are tech savvy, please consider helping out with our Media
Ministry. Right now, we need volunteers to help us run the cameras
while live streaming our Masses and other important moments in
the life of our parish and school. Live streaming allows a parent
who may be deployed or others who may be unable to attend
special events, “attend” First Communions, Conrmations, etc. It
also allows our shut-ins and homebound to watch our Masses, and
so much more. Training is provided. Call Kimberly in the parish
oce at 706-561-8678 for more information.

June 2, 2019 - The Ascension of the Lord
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the rst and the last, the beginning and
the end.” (Revelations 22:13)
This is a reminder of how we should live our lives 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week – putting God rst in all that we do. Not only when I am at Mass
and parish activities, but when I am in the world, at work or at school.
Living gratefully and generously is a lifestyle; it should in-uence how
I make all my daily decisions.
