Solar Feed-in Tariffs (Spain)


Solar PV Feed-in Tariff Spain

The new FiT establishes a quarterly pre-registration mechanism. The regulated tariff foreach official announcement will be calculated according to the existing demand within the

previous announcement, with a decrease in the remuneration if the quarterly cap is totallycovered. This mechanism can lead to a decrease of the tariff between 10% and 16% per yeardepending on the market segment.

Solar PV Feed-in Tariff Portugal

The support for Photovoltaics in Portugal radically changed inApril 2008 with the introductionof the Renewables-on-Demand Programme, published as law Decree 363/2007, replacing

the Independent Power Producer (IPP) scheme and setting new tariff levels. On top of the newFiT (special regime) some investment subsidies, soft loans and a reduction in VAT are alsoavailable.

hydro-electricity generation equipment on properties that they own.
