September 8, 2014 Dear NISD Partner: The Northside Education Foundation is hosting its first ever sporting clay shooting tournament, presented by Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at the San Antonio National Shooting Complex. The Foundation is an independent non-profit 501 c-3, which promotes quality in NISD by funding classroom projects that are not provided in the district budget. NISD now has almost 103,000 students enrolled. This event will help the Foundation award faculty and staff with grants they can use for their ever-growing needs to provide and sustain innovative student programs. NEF is soliciting tournament sponsorships and prize donations (i.e. hunting and fishing equipment, shooting lessons, complimentary passes to shooting ranges and restaurants, etc.). All sponsors and donors will be recognized at the Awards Banquet which follows the tournament.
