Group Learning Progression MapsRecommendations from the Field
The following screen shots on slides are not operational, but will be an enhancement for fall 2012. This screen shot represents the teacher, Mary Jones Grade 7 Reading Group. The content area is Literacy and the Diagnostic Category is Comprehension and Reading Skills. All Diagnostic subcategories are included, but understand this is a screen shot and you cant interface with the slide bar shown in the screen shot. This report can be exported to CSV or PDF. A Green (check mark) dot indicates the students/groups performance for the Eligible Content was equal to or better than the expected performance of a student who is considered just ready for the next grade or course. A Red (X) dot indicates that the students/groups performance for the Eligible Content was less than the expected performance of a student who is considered just ready for the next grade/course. A blank cell or row indicates that the student/group was not presented with items from that Eligible Content.
12Eligible Content Pop-up
This screen shot for Diagnostic Category Comprehension and Reading Skills, focused on Vocabulary, allows you to hover over the Eligible Content to determine the Eligible Content description, link to Materials and Resources on SAS, and a hyperlink for the Sample Item.
13Summary Dot Pop-up
This screen shot for Diagnostic Category, Comprehension and Reading Skill, subcategory Vocabulary Skills, is based on 19 students and 22 items. You would use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars to see Eligible Content and Next Students.
14Students Dot Pop-up
The hyperlink hand cursor focuses on Eligible Content R5.A.1.1.1 for Diagnostic Category, Comprehension and Reading Skills, subcategory, Vocabulary Skills, for Isaac Antolick. It shows that he was administered one test item for this Eligible Content with the administration date of 9-23-2011.
15Scrolling Horizontally through First 50 Students
Notice horizontal scroll bar at the bottom to scroll left and right to view all 50 students. To view the next 50 students, click Next 50 Students. The students will be displayed alphabetically.
16Scrolling Vertically through Eligible Content
Note R7.A.1.3.2 The Count of Red exceeds the Count of Green; however, the Summary Dot is green. The Summary Dot is green because the actual performance of the group of students exceeds the expected performance of the group of students, even though more students received red dots than green dots for this Eligible Content.
