Jump Rope for Heart a Success!Hats off to all the students andteachers who helped make thisyears Jump Rope for Heart event acolossal success! Students raised

more than $10,000 for the American HeartAssociation! These funds will help fight the battleagainst heart disease and stroke. Students shouldexpect their thank you gifts in approximately 6weeks. Thank you again for your support of thisworthwhile event.

1st Grade Food Drive The First Grade classes had their annual 100th dayfood drive challenge for the Giving Tree- thedonation total was 405 items! Thank you for giving!

4K Registration for 2016 - 2017 4K Registration is available online starting February 1,2016 on the Howard Suamico District websiteatwww.hssd.k12.wi.us/registration for 2016-2017 using ourautomated online registration system InfoSnap. Walk-In Registration will be available at the Howard - SuamicoSchool District Office February 1 (8 am to 4 pm). To secureyour child’s registration for the 2016-17 school year, the timeto register is now. It is important for you complete theregistration and provide verifications as soon as possible tofinalize the registration process (NOTE: child must be 4-years-old on or before September 1, 2016). You may register anywhere there is internet access or at akiosk located at one of the elementary schools or at the districtoffice.Please bring the following verification documents whenregistering your child:

Lineville Intermediate School Music ChoicesIn March parents of 4th graders will be asked tochoose a 5th grade music class. Course

descriptions and registrationinformation will be available on March9, and parents and students will learnabout band, chorus, and orchestraclasses at Lineville. A selection mustbe made and the registrationcompleted within two weeks.Parents who desire more information at

Volunteer Program has beenstreamlinedThe registration process forvolunteering has been streamlined.

All volunteer applications need to be completedonline in our volunteer program, Better Impact. Background checks will also be completed onlineat the BIB (Background Investigation Bureau) website.
