Classifying triangles can be accomplished by using the measurements of the angles as well.

A right triangle has one measurement of 90 degrees (one right angle).An acute triangle has three angles that each measure less than 90 degrees (three acute angles).An obtuse triangle has one angle measuring more than 90 degree, but less than 180 degrees (one obtuse angle).
