NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE STATUS OF FUNDED
ACTIVITIES FOR THE CDBG 20-OT-052 project
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 508 of the Housing and Com-munity Development Act of 1987, as amended, the City of Independence City Council will hold a public hearing on July 13, 2020 at 6:30 at City Hall. The purpose of the hearing will be to discuss the status of funding for the CDBG 20-OT-052 project to provide Mobile Hotspots to the Independence School District and food supplies to the Buchanan County Food Pantry. The project is being funded in through a Community Development Block Grant provided by the Iowa Economic Development Authority. If you have questions concerning the project or if you require special accommoda-tions to attend the hearing such as handicapped accessibility or transla-tion services, you may contact City Manager, Al Roder at 319-334-2780. Persons interested in the status of funding or the progress of the project are welcome to attend this meeting.
