Ranging from Homer to Dumas; Oliver Twist to the life story of Abraham Lincoln, Classics Illustrated covers a wide range of tales from all times and perfectly sets the scene of the work in hand for the young reader, instilling in them a joy in reading that will last a lifetime.
The series originally ran from1941 and included nearly 200 titles in its original run, ending in 1971 after estimated sales of over 1 billion copies worldwide.
CCS Books’ reprinted "Vintage Replica" range looks like the originals, but is specifically tailored to engage and educate young readers with some of the greatest works ever written, while still thrilling older readers who have loving memories of this timeless series.
