With plenty of time to shop at each market, travel through the scenic countryside of Germany. Here, you can stroll the village lanes to the local church or shop for authentic handicrafts and woodcarvings. Once through the Black Forest, travel through the picturesque valleys and vineyards to reach Strasbourg, France.

Next, move on to the Franconia region of Germany where this ancient wine town will show you its historic sites. One of the stops will be Nuremberg’s Christmas Market, one of the oldest and most famous markets in Germany – dating back to 1628! Here you can find items like Nuremberg spicy gingerbread, fruit loaves, bakery goods, Christmas tree angels, and toys. Glimpse into the past in Oberammergau, a perfect picture of a Bavarian Alpine village, while shopping for cuckoo clocks and nutcrackers.
