With Silverstone Events Classic Touring taking care of all your tour details, there’s no pressure – all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

Day 1 – 4 13 – 16 November 2010

Welcome to Adelaide, Australia! We come together Sunday, mid morning, for a relaxing drive to the surrounding Adelaide Hills and enjoy a light lunch giving us the chance to get to know your fellow travelling companions and tour organisers.

Over the coming days, prior to Classic Adelaide, we visit South Australia’s world famous wine regions and treat you to visits to premier tourist destinations, really setting the scene for your Classic Australia Tour.

Accommodation – Hilton Hotel, Adelaide

Day 5 - 9 17 – 21 November 2010

Throughout the next 5 days you will enjoy the thrill of participating in one of the world’s great rallies - Classic Adelaide! Year in, year out, the event is a huge success with its interstate, international and local competitors generating much attention around the City.

Each day’s course starts in the heart of the City and travels through South Australia’s tourism hot spots including The Barossa Valley, Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide Hills.

Together with the excitement of the event are countless associated social functions and events where you have the opportunity to mingle with likeminded car enthusiasts and world renowned racing celebrities.

Accommodation – Hilton Hotel, Adelaide

Day 10 22 November 2010

Leaving Adelaide behind we head south towards the Limestone Coast. We tour through the enchanting Coorong National Park, the beautiful Cape Jaffa wine region and enjoy a lunch stop at one of the exquisite seaside lobster fishing villages along the coast.

Pushing on past the regional centre of Mt Gambier, noted for its Blue Lake, we cross the border into the State of Victoria, where we spend the first night at our beachside hotel overlooking the Bass Strait and the start of the world renowned Great Ocean Road.

Accommodation – Mantra Deep Blue, Warrnambool

Day 11 23 November 2010

Today our journey takes us along the spectacular Great Ocean Road and through the rainforest mountain road of the Otway Ranges. With its breathtaking views of rugged cliffs, sandy coves and dramatic rock formations such as the Twelve Apostles it’s sure to be a drive you won’t forget.

Conde Nast Traveller, the prestigious English travel magazine, voted a drive along the Great Ocean Road in the Top 20 “Journeys of a Lifetime”. We enjoy magnificent bird’s eye views of the magical coastline as you are treated to a delicious lunch at a stunning cliff top restaurant.

Tonight’s overnight stay is Torquay, a popular stop for tourists who travel from far and wide to visit the famous surfing venue of Bells Beach.

Accommodation – Crowne Plaza, Torquay

Day 12 24 November 2010

Following breakfast stretch those legs and explore Torquay before departing for Melbourne in time for lunch. We spend two nights in the City of Melbourne enjoying the city’s Café-Culture lifestyle. Message from Mike Rann Premier of South Australia The Classic Adelaide Rally – one of the world’s finest motoring events – promises to be simply brilliant. The rally itself showcases beautifully restored and maintained classic vehicles, taking part in this spectacular event. And the wider event provides visitors to South Australia with the chance to see and experience so many of the things that make our State so special. Just some of these attractions include Adelaide’s elegant and lively City centre, the picturesque Adelaide Hills, and our terrific Wine growing and coastal regions. Of course, all this is complemented by South Australia’s superb food and wine, our fine restaurants and pubs, and our world-class shopping. The South Australian Government is proud to sponsor the Classic Adelaide and we look forward to welcoming participants and fans to our State.

Mike Rann, Premier of South Australia
