Introduction & Highlights

All students receiving a bachelor’s degree from July 2015 to June 2016 were surveyed (total = 519). The initial round of data was collected via a pre-graduation survey in March 2016 of graduates with definite employment or continuing education plans. A web survey was administered beginning in February 2017. Nonrespondents were then contacted via paper mailings. Additional data was obtained by locating the graduates’ LinkedIn or other online profiles, by additional communications with the graduates, or by educational data obtained from the National Student Clearinghouse. Data collection ended in June 2017, with information ultimately found for 427 graduates (82%).

Highlights of the data acquired include: • 82% response rate to the First Destination Survey (427/519 students), breaking the previous year’s

record of 80%• 89.7% of graduates are employed full-time, performing volunteer service (Peace Corps,

AmeriCorps, etc.), military service, or pursuing additional education full-time
