Don and his wife, Michelle (Hotchkiss – Class of 1975), have been married for 28 years and have one child, Karley. Don has been employed at The Gleason Works for the past 35 years and is a 1989 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. He has also been a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Monroe County Library System for 18 years. Don’s proudest accomplishment is his work with the public libraries and getting his degree from RIT. His fondest memories are of Band, wrestling and choir. Mike attended college at SUNY Brockport. He then worked for Orleans County for six years and has been with the State for the past 20 years. Mike is separated and has 3 children. His proudest accomplishment was when he bowled a “300” game in March, 1989. As far as memories go, Mike tells us he has too many to single out just one.

Chuck moved to California for 7 years before returning to New York after college. He married his wife, Donna, in 1979 and they have been married for 26 years. They have 2 children – Thomas John and Erin Laura. In 1985, they moved to Long Island where he became employed by the Long Island Railroad. In 1996, Chuck became the President of the IRSA Union and is looking forward to retirement. Chuck tells us that his proudest accomplishment was the fact that after losing everyting, he found a good job and became President of his Union. His fondest memory is when Mr. Coates gave him the thumbs up in class. Chuck says he respected him and felt very good after that.

Phone Number: 573-548-2254 Lyn tells us that she left Medina in 1978 to move to Sanibel Island, Florida. She met the love of her life “Karl.” After getting her two stepchildren through college,

her husband retired and they began to travel between their home in Turks & Caicos Islands and home in Houston, Missouri, and a lot of wonderful countries in between. They have now put down permanent roots in the Ozark Hills of Missouri. Her husband is a gentleman farmer and she has pursued her artist side. She now does clay art (both pottery and sculpture), paint in watercolor, acrylics and pastels. When she can, she still likes to travel – she just got back from Italy on a holiday and now has a lot of new ideas to create. Lyn and her husband have been married for 25 years, have 2 (step)children and 1 grandson who is 8 years old. Her proudest accomplishments are the indoor and outdoor murals she painted in Houston, Missouri. Lyn’s fondest memory is of the day that about 90% of the class skipped school and went to Akron for the class picnic (and all the days that followed in detention for skipping school!) Unfortunately, Lyn is unable to attend but hopes to make a reunion some day!

to be a stay-at-home Mom. Her husband works at M&T Bank and they transferred to Rochester in 1993 where they have lived ever since. Karen and Paul have been married for 29 years and have 3 children (Brian born in 12/80; Julie born in 8/84; and Eric born in 8/86). Karen states that raising their children has been their life for the past 25 years and her youngest is now a freshman at college. She has volunteered at so many jobs since the kids were little and continues to do so and enjoys it. Karen says she loved everything about her years at MHS and her classmates “were so wonderful.” Unfortunately, Karen is unable to attend due to her youngest son’s parent’s weekend at college in Philadelphia.

Carol tells us she got married in February of 1971 and moved to Rochester into Holy Oak Apartments in Greece. She worked at a Carroll’s Restaurant on Ridge Road, and bought a house in the city in the 19th Ward near the airport in 1973. They had their first son, Sean, in 1974. Their second son, Todd, arrived in 1977 a month early and was delivered at home. “What a surprise” she commented, “luckily Jim and I had a refresher course on child birth!” By the time Sean was ready to start school, they decided to move out of the city and built a house in the Town of Chili, the other side of the airport. Carol states she was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom while the boys were little. In 1985 she went back to work as a part-time hostess at the Ground Round while the boys were in school for a year or so. She then went to work in the Chili Town Clerk’s office for a year. From there, Carol went to work at the Aero Flight Center where she ran the office. She says it was a lot of fun and that “pilots are crazy.” Carol left there when her boss retired and began working for Precise Tool and Manufacturing where she has been for the last 15 years. Her responsibilities include Accounts Payables and Receivables among other office duties. She has been active in her town by serving on the Recreation Advisory Board and Traffic Safety for the Town of Chili. She also served on the Republican Committee where she was secretary. Carol is also very active in her church (Lutheran Church of Our Saviour). She has served as a Church Elder, Council Secretary, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, had been President and Secretary of the Women of the ELCA, and served on the Altar Guild to name a few. Currently, she is serving as the Treasurer of the Upstate NY Synod of the Women of the ELCA. She traveled to San Antonio in July for the 2005 Triennial Gathering of the Women of the ELCA as a synod delegate and says “it was a great experience and I loved the city – all that history.” As a family, they did a lot of camping when the boys were young. Both boys love baseball and played for their school JV and Varsity teams along with Chili’s Travel Teams so they did a lot of traveling to attend games, including Cooperstown. As adults, they still play softball. Their son, Sean, is a Software Support Manager for Seibold Security and does a lot of traveling around the country. The youngest son, Todd, has his teaching degree in physical education and coaches soccer, basketball and softball for Wheatland Chili. For their 30th wedding anniversary , Carol and her husband went to Hawaii. “It was a wonderful two weeks. The islands are just beautiful and the weather is always great. We took a helicopter ride over the Island of Oahu. What an experience!” Also, Jim is a big Yankee’s Fan. “So, I surprised him by arranging a bus trip to New York City for the Yankee’s Old Timers Game Weekend, which included 3 games. It rained on Saturday and the game was cancelled so we took a bus tour around the city. He loved it all.” Her husband retired last November after 39 years at Kodak and is enjoying retirement, and now has the time to fix things around the house. Carol keeps busy with her scrap-booking, reading and church activities. Unfortunately, Carol and her husband are unable to attend.

Price for 25 years and then became a truck driver for Relco. They have 2 children – Laura (24) graduated from Hamilton College in 2004 and is currently working in Boston; Amanda (21) will be a senior at Geneseo and then will be going for a second degree. Becky’s fondest memory was when the Bachelor’s Club dressed up in girls’ clothes for a photo and were sent to the office for “mouthing off” to Mr. Weider.

Susan tells us that she is married for the second time. Her and her husband, Ralph (Rusty) live in Warsaw, NY, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. She has worked 13 years at Champion Products in Perry, in customer service, until the company closed down. She went through a few jobs before she found the one she currently has at Pioneer Credit Recovery in Perry, NY where she is a supervisor in the Collections Department. “I love it, make good money and have been there almost three years,” she says. Her and her husband own a house in the country outside of the Village of Warsaw. They have been married for 21 years. Sue has two children of her own (Amy – 33, lives in Raleigh, NC and has a 9 year old son; and James, 24 who lives at home, works full time and goes to college) and one stepson (lives in Florida and has a 4 year old son). Her proudest accomplishment is succeeding at life in general. “I learn something new everyday, and I appreciate everything I have and am very thankful for all I have. I am healthy and my family is healthy and we live good. I know that not everyone in life has that.” Sue also tells us that all her memories of high school are all good. She remembers most of her classmates and thinks everyone had good times even though we all came from different backgrounds. Sue states she had a lot of good friends in school and hopes to see them all again sometime. Unfortunately, she is unable to attend this year’s gathering.

Upon graduation, Patti worked at Medina Hospital in the Business Office for 5 years. She then went to Rochester and worked for the Americana Hotels (American Airlines) for another 6 years. Patti married her husband, Robert, in 1980 and moved to Lockport. She was a stay at home Mom for 13 years and didn’t return to the workforce until her youngest child started school. Patti then drove school bus for 5 years before quitting due to health issues. Her current profession is an Office Manager in a Church Office. Patti and her husband have been married for 25 years and have 6 children (1 deceased) and 9 grandchildren. Staying married for 25 years is her proudest accomplishment as well as organizing her Dad’s golf tournament and raising $30,000 over a 15 year period for the Buffalo General Hospital. Her fondest memory of high school was when she skipped school with Carol Gibbons, Sandy Hoffmeister and Angela Iorio. “That’s all I did – I had no life back then” she tells us. Patti would like to see the class raise money for a good cause or sponsor something at Medina High School.

Maureen tells us that she earned a Master’s Degree in Education and was employed by the Medina School District until she ended up in Prison (?!?!?!?). She further explains that she was teaching at the Orleans Correctional Facility and wasn’t actually an inmate . . ha ha. Maureen also authored a story in the published anthology “Greatest Gifts Our Children Give to Us,” and taught violin privately for 15 years. She continues to be a member of the Board of Directors for the ARC of Orleans County, SEPTA, Camp Rainbow Advisory Committee, Family Support Services Committee and the Down Syndrome Parent Support Group of Genesee County. Her and her husband, Bob, have been married for 13 years and have 3 sons (Aaron, 28; Ryan, 25; and Dane, 12). Her biggest accomplishment is that she is still living. Her fondest memories include: A Capella choir, student lounge, spectator buses to away games, graduation rehearsal, hanging out in the music room and Little Theater, and great friends.

This past September marked Diana’s 35th work anniversary with the Orleans County Department of Social Services where she is employed as a Principal Stenographer to the Commissioner. Diana is also the current Treasurer of her Church and has been involved in various organizations/activities (Bowling; Girl Scouts; L.O.Y.A.L.; PTSA; Parents Athletic Club; Red Hat Society – currently “Queen Mother” of the Red Hat P.I.N.S. group at the Orleans County Office Building; Sampson WW-2 Navy Veterans, Inc.; VFW Ladies Auxiliary). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafts, working on computers and spending time with her family and friends. One of Diana’s proudest accomplishments was when she was presented with a plaque for her dedicated support of the Sampson World War II Navy Veterans, Inc. in 1995 in which the membership of the group was 3,000+. However, Diana states that the plaque was nothing compared to the numerous friendships she had made with the veterans and their wives. She tells us that one of her fondest memories during high school was when girls were finally allowed to wear slacks instead of dresses/skirts. She also fondly remembers all the fun times she had with her close friends.

Northwest very much. He is a 25 year I.B.E.W. (Electrical Union) member and was twice elected to run his local. He also served as the Washington State Apprenticeship Director. He and his wife have traveled through much of Central America, Europe and South East Asia as well as the United States. They have raised their Godson who is now 22 and on his own. Bill is proud that he was able to learn the basics of the electrical trade from his Dad and had a chance to work with him. While Bill has enjoyed his career, he states that he is “continually reminded of what is really important every time I come home or see friends.” Senior Skip Day is Bill’s fondest memory of high school.

Bev started working at Fisher Price in September, 1971 and married her husband, Jim, in July of 1972. They have 2 sons (Tim born in 1980 and Andy born in 1984). Following the closing of Fisher Price, Bev attended GCC and received her Associates Degree in Human Services in 1997.

She began her employment as a Social Welfare Examiner with the Orleans County Department of Social Services in May, 2000. Bev and her husband became grandparents to Andy, Jr. in January of 2002. Going back to school at 43 years old and doing very well was Bev’s biggest accomplishment and she says that she “actually enjoyed it.” Her fondest memory was walking home from school and stopping for fries and a shake at the dairy.

Jack states that he has gotten a lot bolder and fatter but he is better in many ways! College came later in life for Jack but he has obtained an A.S. from GCC, B.S. from Roberts Wesleyen, M.B.A. from UB and a Ph.D from Suffield. He closed Punch’s Nuts Co. this past year and now works as a

delivery boy for Loomis Fargo. He and his wife, Jane, have been married for 17 years, have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Jack’s proudest accomplishment was when he wrote his first novel – “The Barrister.” However, he states that the book “sucked.” He studied writing and has won an editor’s choice award for his latest novel, “White Treasure,” which will be out soon. He tells us that his proudest accomplishment was that of Orleans County Coroner, Certified Emergency Nurse Nominated for Nurse of Distinction for NYS in 1999 and Mercy Flight Nurse and Paramedic. Rick and wife, Kathleen, have been married for 21 years. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Rick retired from the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department in March 2001, after 28 years of service. For the past 4 years, he has also been the Loss Prevention Manager at Six Flags Darien Lake. Rick’s proudest accomplishment was his great career in police work and the fact that he also finally completed his undergrad schooling in 1993. His fondest memories were of football and band with Joe McKain. Unfortunately, Rick is unable to attend the reunion due to work.

She has been employed with the Orleans County Department of Social Services for the past 17 years and states that she really likes her job. Shirley’s husband will be retiring in a couple of years so she is not sure where they will go then. Besides her son and his children, she also has 3 step-children and 3 step-grandchildren. Denver, CO 80211 Donna reports that she messed around in college. It was when she worked as a Nurse’s Aide that she realized she wanted to be a nurse; and graduated as an R.N. in 1981. She said she had finally found her niche and thought it was hereditary as her grandmother had been a nurse too. Donna says that she has been fortunate enough to have retained the love and devotion of the same fine woman (Monti) for the past 36 years. Her proudest accomplishment was when she came open with her relationship. “It made all the difference in the world and helped me conquer many personal problems.” Donna’s fondest memories of high school were of Mr. Schrecongost standing by her and saying the Pledge of Allegiance when she decided to no longer say it. Due to previous travel plans, Donna is unable to attend.

Pam tells us that her and her husband, Larry, were married in 1973 in Milwaukee where he was attending school. They moved to Chicago where their oldest daughter, Katie, was born and then moved back to Medina for a few years where their youngest daughter, Anne, was born. Larry was transferred to Abingdon, Virginia nearly 20 years ago and Pam says she went “kicking and screaming,” but now just loves it there. “The mountains are beautiful and the weather is perfect. We have at least ten snow days a school year whether or not we have any snow! When it does snow, everyone just stays home and waits for it to melt.” Pam and Larry have been married for 32 years and have 2 children (Katie – 27, a special education teacher; Anne – 24, early childhood education) and they both reside in Raleigh, North Carolina. No grandchildren to report yet but Katie has bee married for 2 years so??? Pam states that her proudest accomplishment is that she actually made it back to college and finished!!! After promptly flunking out of college following high school (where she barely made it through), Pam went back to school when her youngest started school. It took her six years of going part-time but she finally graduated in 1993 and has been teaching music ever since. She says it took her awhile but she did it! Her fondest memory of high school isn’t a specific event because she wasn’t really there enough to remember, but just the kindness of her fellow classmates. She tells us that it wasn’t the “best of times” for her for a lot of reasons, but she always felt like her friends were there – listening or fixing her poor car or letting her stay with them when she didn’t have anywhere else to go. And, that is the reason she hates missing the reunion so much. Unfortunately, considering the distance she would have to travel and her career as a teacher, she is unable to attend the reunion.

Chris tells us that her and husband, Butch, got married in September, 1973 and

have been married for 32 years. They built their home near the farm homestead; have 2 children (twins – Michael & Tricia) and one grandchild. Chris worked at Bells for 13 years until they closed in 1995 and has been employed at Trek as a Document Coordinator since then. Her proudest accomplishment is keeping her weight below what it was when she was pregnant with the twins. Fondest memories include getting the biggest cheer when the absenteeism list was read at the Akron Park on Senior Skip Day, and she is sure it had nothing to do with her name being the last on the list.

Michael “Mike” Williams (deceased – 10/9/99) Mike’s wife tells us that Mike graduated from Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 1974. He worked primarily for the Mead Corporation throughout his career. He worked in Pulaski, NY (74-88); South Lee, MA (88-92, residing in Pittsfield); and Chillicothe, OH (92-99 residing in Circleville). Mike married in 1976 and was

blessed with two sons. Philip is now 22 and applying for Ph.D. programs in organic chemistry. He is also a piano performance minor and has lived two separate years in Germany. Eric is a high school senior hoping to study Mechanical engineering, but enjoying all the other engineering genres as well. He, too, is very musical - plays several instruments, sings, and dances. Both boys would agree that some of their happiest moments were on the golf Course with their father, as they both inherited his ability in that sport. Mike was a devoted father, preferring time with his boys to almost any other activity. He was active in church, paper organizations, and scouting. At the time of his death he was the Cubmaster of a Cub Scout Pack. As far as his fondest memory, his wife said that he had talked about his math teacher, Mr. Misiti and the Daisy Chain at graduation.
