“My triplet sister goes to Atherton and my brother, the other triplet, goes to Pitt Academy. I like that people can
get to know me because I’m the only one who goes to Manual.” Jennifer Davis (10). “It was really unny
going to school with my twin in eighth grade because my our reading teacher would post both o our grades
on the board to make it really competitive.” Danielle Kitchen (11). “My twin brother goes to Male. I’m kind
o used to the oddness because we’re so dierent in every way. It’ll be weird, though, when basketball season
starts, because we both play or our schools’ teams—rival schools, not to mention.” Benjamin Howell (9).

Andres&Adriano AguayoJust because twins grew up together didn’t mean they would always be
together. For Adriano and Andres Aguayo (9), ollowing their dierent
dreams could be the very thing that separated them.
“I would like to move away rom Kentucky and go to Tampico, Mexico
or to Miami or something,” Adriano said. Once he moved, Adriano
wanted to join either the police orce or the Air Force as a ghter pilot.
On the contrary, Andres aimed or a completely dierent job eld. “I
want to be a caricature artist,” Andres said.
“Dierent people have dierent dreams,” Adriano said.
“Back in kindergarten, your punishment or being bad was to fip your card. At the end o each
day, your card color would be recorded in your agenda or your parents could see. However one
time, Mark wouldn’t stop talking and got his card fipped. That same day he started a crayon
ght during nap-time, and convinced everyone to eat a piece o Play-Doh during play time
resulting in his card being fipped to red, which is the worst color. As our kindergarten teacher
circled the room marking in the class’ agendas, Mark pulled up a seat beside me. I passed her
my agenda, and Mark handed her his. We both said thank you when she gave it back, and went
home. When we showed our agendas to our mom, she looked at me and started raging. I caught
a glance at my agenda, and saw that the teacher wrote a long note telling my mom how bad I
was that day—conusing me with Mark.” —Michael Elder (11)
Mark&Michael ElderJasmine and Taylor Browning
(11) grew up with many
similarities and dierences.
“Jasmine and I have always
been dierent because
we were separated in
kindergarten and were
orced to develop our own
personalities,” Taylor said.

On the other hand you have Madison, who would
rather relax and watch a movie or snuggle up with
a blanket and a good book. “I like staying at home
and sort o going with what happens,” Madison said.
“She’s denitely more relaxed,” Mackenzie said.
On one hand there was
Mackenzie (10) who
kept a hectic schedule
with involvement in a
number o activities.
Mackenzie’s avorite
thing to do was play
a erce game o
volleyball. “I always
have to be on the go
and busy, or else I’ll go
insane,” Mackenzie said.

dentical twins working at thesame place was something most
wouldn’t expect, but it is normal
or Kristen and Cassidy Hale (12).
“We had both been wanting a job
or a while, and Little Caesars was
the only place that hired at 15, so
we both applied and got the job,”
Cassidy said.
Ater two and a hal years the
twins were still working together,
and they were always able to
balance the relationships o sister
and co-worker. “We have our little
arguments rom time to time, but we
know to keep it proessional since it
is a work setting,” Kristen said.
Both o them tend to work the
ront together. “I just wish they
would schedule us or dierent daysevery once in awhile because they
always give us the same shits,”
Cassidy said.
Customers oten come in and
get conused. “On some occasions
customers would ask i we were
twins and we would tell them no
that we were just riends or that
we were cousins and had them
completely believe us. It’s interesting
to see the number o people who
will believe that,” Kristen said.
“It’s pretty cool having a job with
her. Our co-workers think it is pretty
cool that we are twins and they have
a lot o trouble telling us apart. They
are getting better at telling us apart
though,” Cassidy said.
