Once upon a time, in a beautiful land far away lived the Royal McNeme Family, King Brent, Queen Christine, Princess Claire and Prince Gage. In this kingdom outside of the castle walls lived a huge dragon named Jake.

Most of the kingdom was afraid of the dragon, but not Claire. Claire was so pretty and kind that the dragon had fallen in love with her. However the King wanted to protect his lovely daughter and kept the princess from visiting the dragon.

Jake was so upset that one night he snuck into the

castle and kidnapped Claire. The entire kingdom was devastated. The king and queen cried and cried for days.

At first, Claire was happy to see her friend, the dragon and Jake was happy too. Then after a few days Claire, started to miss her family and became sad. Jake begged the princess to sing and dance and laugh. When Claire was sad, the dragon became sad too.

Jake loved Claire so much that he decided to take her back to the castle. Claire climbed on his back and Jake flew her home. Once again Claire was happy at home with Prince Gage. Soon though, she did miss her friend the dragon.

It was then that Prince Gage asked his father the King if Jake could come to visit the castle. Although the King and Queen were scared that the dragon would take their daughter away again, they hated to see the prin-cess lonely missing her friend.

King Brent decided that Jake could come for a visit if he promised to behave. That night Prince Gage went to Jake’s cave and invited Jake to visit. Jake was so excited to see the Princess again that he agreed to the King’s rules.

From that day on the people of the kingdom and the dragons were able to get along peacefully, all because a King and a Dragon loved a beautiful princess so very much!
