GENERAL NOTES

Situation

Upper Outwoods Farm lies close to the A511 on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. From Tutbury pick up the A511 and after 1 ½ miles enter Burton on Trent passing St Modwen Primary School on the left and arrive at the Beacon roundabout. Turn up Outwoods Lane signposted for Anslow and travel up the hill for approximately ½ a mile. The entrance lane to Upper Outwoods Farm lies on the left (opposite No 209). From the centre of Burton on Trent pick up the A511 signposted for Tutbury and Rolleston and continue out of town until reaching the Beacon roundabout. Turn left up Outwoods Road towards Anslow and follow the directions detailed above. ‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Tuesday 31st October 2017. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. FOREWORD

This genuine sale at Upper Outwoods Farm arises as a result of the retirement of Mr John and Mr Bob Hulme who have traded as Hulme & Sons for many decades. The family purchased the farm in 1951 and in recent times have farmed both arable together with Angus cattle on the holding. Locals will know that all the cattle have now left the farm which leaves a genuine retirement dispersal of the arable equipment and grassland items including a superb Claas Combine which was purchased new onto the holding and has seen very careful usage. The Landini tractor together with the mower were both purchased new in addition to the combine detailed above and have been carefully used throughout their time at the farm. Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very good December sale.
