The month of October is filled with fun activities and we plan to take advantage of them all at CKC! Our theme for this month is celebrating the Mexican Holiday Dia De Los Muertos! We will be practicing our sugar skull skills, skeleton making, and marigold flowers! We will also be turning our room into a scary, fun haunted house with decorations and ghostly art. We are planning a Spooky Festival Party on Oct. 31st! (costumes are encouraged) where we have a mummy wrap competition, creepy crawly Arts n Crafts, and yummy treats! October is sure to be exciting!

Just FYI…Golden Tickets!Here at Bay View we have been using tickets as a reward system. Children who are seen being extra helpful with clean-up, being a good friend, or showing respect with calm bodies inside, have been earning tickets! These tickets go towards a communal celebration jar! Extra privileges like cozy chair, or teacher’s assistant will start being rewarded throughout the week as well! We will keep you updated when the jar is full, as to have a party for all of our hard work and helpfulness!

Homework ClubWe offer homework club to all students M-Th @4:30-5:00. If you would like your child to work on their homework , please let us know and we will sign your child up!

Important Info*It is very important you notify us if your child will not be attending their assigned day, whether they are out sick or have a play date! As well as if you would like to drop-in on a non-scheduled day please call 831 427-1667

*Please Let us know if someone other than a parent will be picking up from CKC and that person has their I.D. and they are on the pick up list

*Don’t forget to sign your child in/out everyday
