The Long Walk HomeJournal Entry #1

In the movie The Long Walk Home, Odessa is the housekeeper for the Thompson family. Odessa has to overcome obstacles to fight for what she believes in. In your entry:

1. Explain hardships Odessa or Miriam faced in the struggle for equality.

2. Have you ever had to overcome hardships in order to fight for something that you believe in? Explain.
