DESCRIPTION

CIVIL Labs is a not-for-profit dedicated to building inclusive communities through the business of food. Converting unused industrial space into commercial kitchens, we address a pressing market need for food production space while creating a community asset that supports business growth and transforms lives. Revenues from leasing the kitchen units subsidize a unique food entrepreneurship fellowship for underserved youth. Our vision is to become the heart of food entrepreneurship in cities across the country, starting in Oakland.
