PRODUCED BY THE CITY OF VICTORIA VICTORIA’S GUIDE TO FESTIVALS AND OUTDOOR EVENTS IN 2015
CITYVibe is an annual publication that showcases the many spectacular City-sponsored and community-based arts and cultural outdoor events, outdoor markets and summer festivals that are taking place in the Capital City. The festivals and celebrations showcased are recipients of the City of Victoria’s 2015 Festival Investment Grant. Over the past 16 years, the City has awarded over $2 million to local non-profit arts and cultural organizations.

festivals and outdoor events | CITYVibe 1
Welcome to CITYVibe, your guide to an action-packed season of arts, culture and entertainment.
Summer is an amazing and vibrant season in BC’s Capital City. Our downtown comes alive as locals and tourists alike enjoy its walkability, fantastic local coffee, beer and food scenes and the eclectic and diverse mix of businesses. This year, many favourite sights, sounds and flavours will return with our popular annual events. There are also a number of unique new events waiting to be discovered.
This summer, enjoy music in Beacon Hill Park and Centennial Square. Discover local farmers and artisans at a public market. Enjoy all that our terrific food truck culture has to offer. Cheer with your friends at a sporting event or bring your family and friends to a parade. From Centennial Square to the Inner Harbour, from Fabulous Fort Street to Government Street – just about anywhere you go in Victoria this summer, there will be music in the air and people in the streets.
The City of Victoria is proud and excited to support the many festivals and celebrations taking place in Victoria this summer. We hope you enjoy!
