CITY OF CENTRALIA COMPOST Thank you for your interest in compost produced by the City of Centralia Public Works Department. We are excited to announce our compost will be regularly available starting March 2019. Call the Public Works office at 360-330-7512 for more information.

There are three ways to obtain compost

1. Self-Loading Site:Borst Park Boat Ramp (close to Borst Home & soccer fields) Cost: Free – Self-loading site

Bring your own shovel and bags or containers Available anytime the park is open If you find that stock is low please notify us by calling 360-330-7512

2. We Load – You Haul Site:City of Centralia Wastewater Treatment Plant – 1101 Goodrich Road Cost: $7.00 per yard (includes sales tax)

Pay at the Cashier’s Office on the second floor of City Hall or at theWastewater Treatment Plant; you will be given a receipt noting the amountyou purchased and the preferred time of pick up; full purchase must be pickedup within 10 business days

Compost is available for pick up from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and12:30 PM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Use the Treatment Plant access road – See map and directions Access road gates will be open and signs will mark the route Rain or shine No quantity limits at this time Plan to cover your load

3. Hire Someone to Haul for you:

Same location and conditions as for the “We Load – You Haul” option above

Cash, Personal Check, Money Order, Cashier Check, or

Credit Card (additional fee; not available at Plant)

Receipt must be provided at time of pickup
