• W hen f ire appara tus ac c es s roads an d wa ter s up pl ies f or f ire protec tio n are requ ired t obe ins ta lle d, s uc h prot ec ti on s ha ll b e i ns tal le d a nd m ade s ervic ea ble pri or to vert ic alc ons truc tion, an d s ha ll r em ain s er vic e ab le d urin g th e t i m e of c ons truc tion. Fire apparatusaccess shall be of approved all-weather design and material capable of supporting80,000 pounds. Then these lanes shall be maintained accessible during construction.

• Temporary fire apparatus access roads are permitted with the approval of the FireMarshal. Temporary fire apparatus access roads shall be capable of supporting 80,000pounds and of such design to permit all-weather access.

• Fire Apparatus Access roads shall be a minimum of 24’ in width with a 26’ width entrance.

• Dead-end Fire Apparatus Access roads shall not exceed 150’ without an approvedturning area.

• Turning Radius shall be a minimum of 30’ inside and 50’ outside.
