A meeting of the City Commission Ad Hoc Committee: 2014 Cherry Festival was called to order on

Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1:16 p.m. in the Second Floor Commission Chambers, 400

Boardman Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan.

The following Commissioners were present, constituting a quorum: Commissioner Richardson,

Commissioner Howe, and Commissioner Easterday.

The following Commissioners were absent: None.

Staff in attendance: Jered Ottenwess and Benjamin C. Marentette

1. The first item being: “Consideration of selecting a secretary for the duration of the

committee.”

By consensus, Commission Richardson was selected secretary for the duration of the

committee.

2. Next item being: “Develop key issues to be addressed by committee.”

By consensus the following key issues should be address; TART Trail Access, closing of

Marina Drive starting June 30th

, and remove the allowing of smoking.
