The Pakistan’s Citizen’s Damage Compensation Program (CDCP) is a rapid response cash grant to the 2010 flood victims, through biometric verification and integration with financial institutions. It was initially created by the Government of Pakistan to provide much-needed relief to the flood-affected population, later continued and expanded to support their early recovery. The flood wave of 2010 in Pakistan propagated disastrous effects, destroying infrastructure, road links, houses; leaving over 14 million affectees crippled in dire need of support and shelter.
