The Grenoble metropolitan area aims to understand and respond to new mobility needsin a sustainable way. That is why it looks into developing innovative solutions.

The CROUS example (university social centre) :

Problem : CROUS Grenoble Alpes has been looking for a solution for its employees after reducing its fleet of company cars.

Fact : The alternatives offered by public transport and taxi services were not suitable for a variety of reasons (cost, flexibility, ...).

Solutions : Cité Lib by Ha:mo, a flexible and economical solution, has been successfully adopted.

A concrete example

18

Multimodality

Cité Lib by Ha:mo is a piece of the puzzle of the metropolitan area’s mobility plan, which offers a variety of solutions :

- Promoting alternative mobility towards a “zen city”

- A wide multimodal offer in key multimodal hubs (such as the station in Grenoble, the station of Gières, La Tronche) and in Métromobilité stations

- Innovations and experiments led by Grenoble Alpes Metropole (other experiments are conducted with fuel cell cars for instance)

- Development of innovative partnerships

19

4. Charging stations

20

- Develop the supply of electricity and charging-related services

- Provide expertise to communities to develop public transport and electric vehicle fleets

- Strengthening key partnerships in electric mobility

- Provide expertise regarding charging infrastructure on public roads (urban areas, fast charging network on highways)

21

41 self-service stations for electric vehicles

- First marketing experience of a service with an electronic payment system for Sodetrel

- 700 subscriptions to Pass Sodetrel in France, out of which 100 in Isère and around 30 in the neighboring departments : 01, 73, 74, 69 and Switzerland

- 60% of the Isère subscribers have chosen the "I test” formula, 20% “I like” and 20% the premium formula “I love”

- The most used self-service stations are : Vaucanson, Victor Hugo, Stephane Jay, Les Taillées Universités (according to Feb-Mar 2016 statistics)
