CiscoAnyConnectVPN— Windows

1. Go to https://studentit.unimelb.edu.au/wireless-vpn/vpn and click Cisco VPN under “General VPN access”.

2. Sign in with your University of Melbourne username and password.

3. Accept the terms and conditions by pressing Continue.

4. Download the installation package for Windows.

5. Locate and open the downloaded file.

6. Click Next on the setup wizard screen.

7. Click Agree to the software licence agreement, and then Next.

8. Click Install to begin installation.

9. You must have administration privledges to install Cisco AnyConnect. When prompted, click Yes to proceed with installation.

10. You have successfully installed Cisco AnyConnect. Click Finish to exit the setup wizard.

11. To open, launch Cisco AnyConnect from the start menu.

12. Once opened, type: remote.unimelb.edu.au/student and click

Connect.

13. It will then prompt for your university credentials. Please input your student username and password, then click OK.

14. After clicking OK, click Accept to agree to the Terms and Conditions once more.

15. You are now connected to Cisco AnyConnect VPN.

Howtodisconnect

1. To disconnect just click on the Disconnect button.

2. Once disconnected you can reconnect whenever you would like.
