Key Strengths, Challenges and Opportunities

1. Strengths

• A process of transforming climate change sectoral plan to NAP

• A sectoral plan is linkage with NAP and National Economic and Development Plan

• Coordination among stakeholders at provincial level and national level

• Available of climate information


2. Challenges

• Do we have too many agencies and too much information available?

• Establishment of institution to responsible for climate change information at the national and regional level

• How to access the climate information (for example farmers), translate climate scientific information to local languages that easy to understand


3. Opportunities

• Climate information are available at many agencies and academic institution

• Technical expertise are available• CIS for NAP and for disaster risk reduction • CIS are available for decision makers in planning process
