Circle K International Strategic Plan Circle K International is 6o years in the making as the collegiate branch of the Kiwanis Family and continues to progress immensely with every succeeding year. To ensure that this progress is well facilitated, the Circle K International Strategic Plan was established to better define five targeted areas that will assist its clubs, districts, and the organization overall to thrive for the years to come. The Circle K International Strategic Plan is meant to serve as a living document to be edited and updated as goals are met and new goals are determined. About Circle K International Tenets Service, Leadership, and Fellowship Motto Live to Serve, Love to Serve Pledge I pledge to uphold the objects of Circle K International. To foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind’s potential. Mission Circle K International develops college and university students into a global network of responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service. Vision To be the leading global community-service organization on college and university campuses that enriches the world one member, one child, and one community at a time.

Circle K International is 6o years in the making as the collegiate branch of the Kiwanis Family and continues to progress immensely with every succeeding year. To ensure that this progress is well facilitated, the Circle K International Strategic Plan was established to better define five targeted areas that will assist its clubs, districts, and the organization overall to thrive for the years to come. The Circle K International Strategic Plan is meant to serve as a living document to be edited and updated as goals are met and new goals are determined.

About Circle K International

Tenets Service, Leadership, and Fellowship Motto Live to Serve, Love to Serve Pledge I pledge to uphold the objects of Circle K International. Membership Growth & Development Goal: To promote growth within our organization through the leadership and professional development of the members of Circle K International.

o To build professional development opportunities for members through various outreach programs, including but not limited to a Kiwanis Shadowing Program, workshops, and webinars.

o To develop club and district leadership through educational programing.

o To produce materials for the internal education of our members regarding the mission, vision, and tenets of Circle K International.

o To construct a network of global citizens through increasing personal and professional development.

o To provide clubs and Districts information about recruiting new members, including the creation of a recruitment manual.

o To produce materials that will help Districts build new clubs, while also providing information to these new clubs in order to sustain long term growth.

Kiwanis Family Goal: To enhance and build upon our network of relationships within the Kiwanis Family.

o To generate activities, programs, or service events that are rewarding for each Kiwanis family branch involved.

o To evaluate and modify the Key to College Program to provide a more sustainable curriculum.

o To build and develop the Kiwanis Shadowing Program to provide Circle K International Members opportunities for career development.

o To create a retention system among the Kiwanis Family branches.

Service Goal: To educate the members of Circle K International on our service partners, preferred charities, and to see an increase in impactful service.

o To increase knowledge about Circle K International service partners and preferred charities through promotional materials and educational campaigns.

o To design toolkits pertaining to Circle K International service partners and preferred charities.

o To focus on impactful service that directly engages with the community.

o To engage in meaningful education and reflection before and after events.

o To promote and educate clubs and districts about the Tomorrow Fund grant.

o To design a mechanism to measure the success of impactful service.

Global Outreach Goal: To construct a network of clubs through developing international relations and global citizenship. Non-districted Clubs

o To evaluate, with the help of Kiwanis Staff, a potential club database that includes universities and communities in countries that have CKI clubs.

o To develop CKI clubs in countries Kiwanis and Key Club are already operating in.

o To maintain regular and constant communication with international clubs and districts.

o To design a Monthly Report Form for clubs to complete in order to foster the best support for individual clubs.

Districts and Subregions o To develop legislation that provides a definition for a District,

Subregion, Region, and Trustee. o To evaluate the responsibilities of the International Trustee-At-

Large to dictate what aspects of growth the International Expansion Committee will represent and work with.

o To assess the needs of Southeastern Asian clubs and work with Kiwanis International to develop and outline the future for a CKI Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) Region, including a trustee to develop those needs.

o To assess the needs of Latin American clubs and work with Kiwanis International to develop and outline the future for a CKI Latin American Region, including a trustee to develop those needs.

Global Awareness o To support multilingual members by translating communications

and resources, especially in Kiwanis International core languages (Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish).

Image Goal: To create a globally recognizable image worldwide and see an increase in organizational awareness. CKI Brand

o To determine a consistent name for the branding of Circle K International.

o To use the Circle K International word mark or seal on all promotional materials and publications to create a consistent brand.

o To utilize the brand guide to assist with making unique and official Circle K International materials.

o To educate members on how to use the brand guide.

o To increase name and image recognition worldwide.

Marketing o To increase knowledge about Circle K International externally by

create targeted advertising campaigns. External Communication

o To establish and maintain relationships with college campuses and communities.
