Course outlineThe CIOB Level 4 Certificate and Diploma in Site Management are qualifications developed by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) to provide career progression and increased promotion prospects for people working within the construction industry.

The course provides training in site management for those who want to be or might already be employed in a managerial position.

Candidates for the Diploma in Site Management need to undertake 12 units, but can receive the Certificate after successfully completing four.

Entry requirementsYou will be required to attend an interview.You will have completed the CIOB Level 3 Diploma in Site Supervisory Studies.You will need three to five years on-site experience.

Course duration The course is run over two years, year one to gain the Certificate and year two for the Diploma.

This course is delivered on one afternoon and evening per week.

• Project planning for construction• Managing health, safety, welfare and risk control within a construction site• Managing dimensional control on construction sites• Developing and managing self and construction works personnel• Contractual and legal responsibilities within a construction environment• Managing the technology of modern and traditional construction works
