The whole time since she has known about the ball the mice and her have been working on a dress for the ball. So she finishes her chores and goes to meet her stepsisters and stepmother at the door and when she gets there they are jealous and rip up her dress. She runs outside and cries. All of the sudden hairy godmother shows up and turns her ragged dress into a beautiful one, she turns her shoes into glass slippers and a pumpkin into a carriage, and the mice are the coachmen. She tells her all of this will change back at midnight, so she goes to the ball and dances with the prince. She runs out at midnight and loses a shoe on the way out. After they get out of eye distance the carriage and coachmen turn back into a pumpkin and mice and the dress turns back into the ragged one. Characters

Page 5: Cinderella research

As a child made a servant in her home by her stepmother Lady Tremaine and two stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella who

constantly make fun of her. Although she is shy and romantic, she maintains hope

through her dreams and always waits for her prince to come. When her evil stepsisters and stepmother prevent her from going to

the ball, she is heartbroken and alone. However, her Fairy Godmother appears and restores hope. Cinderella always sings love songs and in her childhood she hardly went

to play with other children because of her daydreams about the Prince Charming.

Cinderella is strong-willed and determined; when the invitation to the royal ball arrives, she does everything she can to pursue her

stepmother that she has every right to attend.

Anastasia is the redheaded younger daughter of Lady Tremaine. In the movie Cinderella, Anastasia just as

awkward, clumsy, foolish, and bossy as her sister, Drizella. She is known to have huge feet, during their music lessons Anastasia plays the flute while Drizella

sings. Anastasia quarrels with her sister Drizella often, though they are united in their jealousy of and

contempt for Cinderella. Anastasia's most common dress is the magenta coloured dress which she

accessorizes with a gold coloured headpiece and purple slippers and wears pink bloomers underneath.

Her hairstyle is in many long curls which run down her back and sways when she moves.

Drizella Tremaine is the black haired older daughter of Cinderella's evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine. She loves to

dress in the latest fashions and taunt Cinderella – when she isn’t busy clawing her Anastasia’s eyes out.Drizella wears a gold-toned green dress with centre-parted hair

ending in short sausage curls on the back, and a greenish or turquoise blue hair ribbon on her head tied up. For the palace ball, she wears a multi-colored gown and wears a

feather instead of a bow in her hair. Like her sister Anastasia, Drizella has enormous feet.

She is portrayed as abusive and highly unorganized. She is bitterly jealous of Cinderella's success and beauty and

often gets her into trouble. Unlike her younger sister, Anastasia, who changes her spiteful ways and develops

into a kind and good-natured woman, Drizella remains mean-spirited and cruel, and never overcomes her hatred

of Cinderella.

Lady Tremaine is introduced in the beginning of the film. Cinderella's father, a widower, anxious for his daughter to have a mother figure, so he

married Lady Tremaine, who is described as "a woman of good family". She was a widow herself,

with two daughters from her first marriage. After years of living happily together as a family,

Cinderella's father died, Lady Tremaine showed her true colours as a cold, cruel, sadistic and

envious of Cinderella's charm and beauty: pampering her own daughters while forcing

Cinderella to become a servant in her own home. Lady Tremaine allows Cinderella to attend the

Royal Ball, on the condition that Cinderella finishes all her chores and finds a suitable dress.

When Cinderella appears ready for the Ball in a suitable dress, Lady Tremaine (indirectly, but

intentionally) encourages her daughters to tear apart Cinderella's dress, leaving her unable to

attend the ball.

Morals of the story

Don’t let your family dictate your life.

Follow your heart

Never forget who you are and how you were raised even if you have no parents.

It’s the beauty within, not just on the outside.

Keep ahead of time.

Always have backups in life, even if it’s for a party.

Never trust your stepfamily.

Always have back ups even if it has to do with clothes.
