LIFE & STYLE
Nothing brings about buzzy cheer quite like a nice holiday cocktail. When you’re in the mood for something other than wine or beer, try this sip – a great option for Thanksgiving
that carries nicely into the winter holidays.
Ginger Apple Splash• 2 parts ginger ale or ginger beer (recommended: Gosling’s Ginger Beer, non-alcoholic)• 2 parts apple cider• 1 part bourbon• Pour over ice and garnish with a fresh apple slice and/or cinnamon sticks
To make this drink friendly for all, mix ginger ale or non-alcoholic ginger beer and apple cider together in a pitcher with ice, garnish with apple slices, then allow guests to omit or add bourbon.

Holiday décor can be simple and still make a statement. Fill flower boxes, vases and other
vessels with fresh greens, pinecones, birch logs or anything else you can forage from the great outdoors. Mix in faux items like plastic flowers and berries to give everything a fresh look. Top off with burlap ribbon, twine and jars with white candles for a rustic feel. And, this décor has a shelf life beyond Christmas and well into January.
Banisters and boxes come to life with simple greenery and nature-inspired elements.
Create Delight friends and family with unique package wrapping, perfect
for host or holiday gifts. Grab old scarves from your own closet or your local thrift store. Then, wrap boxes in neutral paper and ribbon so the scarves are brightly showcased.
Wrap up packages warmly with a new creative use for old scarves.
