Background Information on the Cincinnati RedsThe Cincinnati Reds are a baseball team in the National League Central. The Reds colors are red, white, black, and gray. The Reds play in Cincinnati, Ohio at Great American Ballpark. The Reds have two mascots but the main one is Mr. Red and the newer one is Gapper. Mr. Red is a baseball head wearing a baseball uniform, while Gapper is a monster named after a line drive in the gap. The Cincinnati Reds were the first baseball team ever, coming into existence in 1869. They were then known as the Red Stockings. Last year the Reds made the playoffs for the first time in 15 years by winning the National League Central. The Reds finished 91-71.
