On Monday, May 7, 2018, a sold out crowd of 400 members attended CIM’s 44th Annual Dinner as David Lynch of J. H. Lynch & Sons was elected Chairman of CIM.

In addition to David, the other officers elected and taking on their new roles are: Trevor McCourt, McCourt Construction, Vice Chairman; Rob Pine, Skanska USA, Treasurer; and Mike Socci, MAS Building & Bridge, Secretary.

The newly elected and re-elected members of the Board of Directors are: David Callahan, Palmer Paving; Mark DiMartino, RoadSafe Traffic Systems; Jack Harney, D. W. White Construction; A J Lorusso, S. M. Lorusso & Sons; Bob Penfield, VHB, Inc.; and Bill Shea, J. F. White Contracting.

Congratulations to the officers and directors.

The evening was also an opportunity to recognize and thank the outgoing Board members, who were presented plaques in appreciation of their service on the Board and for their dedicated advocacy on behalf of the members of CIM. Those members recognized were Kevin Lampron, J. F. White Contracting, and Mike Dow, The Dow Company.

Our guest speaker this year was Lt. Governor Karyn Polito. During her remarks, the Lt. Discussing such initiatives as the Chapter 90 Program, MassWorks program, Commonwealth Compacts, the MassDOT and MBTA capital plans & investment programs, among others.

The Lt. Governor is very proud of her focus on the communities across the state, having worked with all 351 cities and towns to streamline and innovate the ways public functions are undertaken.

After dinner, the members heard remarks from CIM Executive Director John Pourbaix, outgoing chairman Mike Foley, Barletta Engineering, and new Chairman David Lynch.

We thank all the Board members for their tremendous commitment to CIM and for their time and energy in representing the industry, and we congratulate all the officers and directors on their election.
