你需要參加哪種考試
雅思考試有兩種不同版本:學術組和一般組。每個接受雅思成績的機構一般都會說明申請中需要何種雅思考試。如果你不確定該考哪一組別,你應該聯絡申請機構查看他們的要求。
在學術組和一般組考試中,要測驗四項語言技能 — 聽、說、讀、寫,除非你因有殘疾可以免考某一項。每個人的聽力和口語考試都是一樣的。雅思學術組和一般組的閱讀與寫作考試不一樣。
聽力、閱讀、寫作考試必須同一天完成,但這三項考試的時間順序可能有所不同。這些考試之間沒有休息,口語考試可以在這三項考試之前或之後最長七天內進行。

你在考試當天在各項語言技能(聽、說、讀、寫)中的表現將按照1(最低)至9(最高) 級不同的分數級別進行評分。考試的所有部分和總評級分數將以整級或半級報告(如6.0、 6.5、7.0、7.5等)。
專家用者 能將英語運用自如並完全理解。
極好用者能將英語運用自如,只是偶爾非系統性不準確或用詞不當,在不熟悉的狀況下可能出現誤解,對議論複雜細節掌握得相當好
上佳用者有能力運用英語,雖然在某些情況下有時會發生不準確、不適當和誤解,大致掌握複雜的英語,也理解詳細推理。
有能力用者雖然有些不準確、不適當和誤解發生,但大致能有效地運用英語,能使用並理解相當複雜的英語,特別是在熟悉的情況下。
中等用者 可部分運用英語,在大多數情況下可應付全部的意思,雖然可能犯下許多錯誤,在本身領域內應可掌握基本的溝通。

聽力考試小技巧
1. 在錄音開始前,在每一部分開始時,仔細閱讀該部分的問題。這有助於你跟隨錄音確認答案。
2. 完成一個部分後,最好向前閱讀下一部分的問題,而不要再去擔心上一個部分。
3. 有時會碰上複選題。可能的答案可能按字母順序排列而不一定是按照你聽到的順序排列。
4. 小心字數限制。如果有說明說:寫出不多於兩個單詞,則寫出多於兩個單詞的意思是,你所有的回答將不得分,即使你寫的某些單詞是正確的。
5. 努力傾聽問題中的關鍵字或同義詞(與另外一個詞意思相同或幾乎相同的詞),以幫助你確認答案。例如,在錄音中,你可能會聽到:“她喜歡去健身房和打網球。”在答案卡上,可能會是“她是個活躍的人。”
6. 可能會要求你寫下錄音中拼出的單詞。為拼寫正確,你需要知道英語字母以及每個字母的發音(例如字母‘W’的發音為‘double-u’)。

考試當天預備事項
瞭解考試當天是如何進行的,以便到達考場時,你有心理準備,可以全神貫注,考出最佳成績。聽力、閱讀和寫作永遠都是在同一天同時考,但這三項考試的時間順序可能有所不同。口語考試可能在同一天進行,或在其他幾項考試之前或之後最長七天內進行,這要取決於你的考試中心
雅思考試執行嚴密複雜的生物識別保安措施,防止應試者和機構作弊。以下是考試當天會發生的事情。
你應提早到達,以便留出時間報到入座。請參考你的確認信瞭解詳情。如果晚到了,可能會不准你參加考試。
提早到達
考場內不得攜帶任何個人物品(除非是宗教原因)。考試當日,工作人員會收取你的個人物品並安全存放。禁止帶入考場內的物品包括:手機、手提電腦、照相機、帽子、圍巾、錢包、書籍、筆記本或食物。
存放個人物品
在考試當天報到時,工作人員會檢查你的身份(ID)。你的ID必須是你在報名考試時使用的同一個ID。而且必須是有效的(沒有過期),且上面要有你本人的可識別的照片。
如果你是在考試中心報考,則可能已經存取了你的照片或指紋掃描。如果沒有,在考試當天到達時會提取。在進入考場之前,你的指紋會被再次掃描,以核對身份。
身份檢查
當可以進入考場時,監考人員會帶你到座位上。不要寫任何筆記。不准與其他應試者交談。如果有什麼問題,可以舉手讓工作人員幫忙。在桌子上,只允許放置透明水瓶。
進入考場
你在以下情形不能去卫生间:• 在给出考试说明时 • 每项考试的最后10分钟• 每项考试结束数卷纸时 • 听力考试CD正在播放时,包括最后的10分钟暂停
休息
如果你有問題(例如,如果你認為試卷發錯了,聽不到說明,或感覺不舒服),請舉手示意監考人員。請注意,監考人員不會為問題做任何解釋。
請求幫助
直到收卷並告訴你可以離開時,你才能夠離開座位。如果提早答完,你必須安靜等待,直到考試結束並告訴你可以離開。任何筆記和資料都必須留在桌子上。
考試結束
拿好個人物品。成績可在考試後13天在https://results.ielts.org上預覽查詢。成績單也會在考試13天後出來,上面會顯示正式成績。你可以到考試中心去取成績單,或選擇郵寄的方式—。這取決於在考試報名時你指定的是哪一種方式。

收到成績
你將收到一份成績單,報告四項技能(聽、說、讀、寫)的各項分數和總分。
可能會給出半分,表明在特定級別表現出眾。在IELTSessentials.com/criteria上可查到有關分數處理和分數解釋的更多資訊。
考試13天之後可線上預覽成績。在第13天應試者就可以在相同的考試中心取成績單了,如果是其他考試中心,成績單第13天會寄出。考試中心不准在電話上或通過傳真或電郵提供成績。
成績單只提供一份,所以一定要妥善保管,因為不會補發成績單。考試中心會免費將你的成績單發給最多五家機構。
線上成績預覽考試13天之後即可線上預覽成績,考試成績將線上保留28天。請注意,成績線上預覽不應用作你的成績的正式確認。
成績有效期兩年以上的雅思成績單一般不會被接受,除非你能出示證據證明在考試之後你一直在積極保持或努力提高英語。雅思考試合作夥伴不能確認兩年以上雅思成績的有效性。
雅思重考對於雅思重考沒有限制。你覺得準備好了可以隨時報名考試。請注意,除非你花了很大努力在重考之前提高英語,否則你的分數不太可能會有提高。請參閱 IELTSessentials.com/resitting網站查詢更多資訊。
成績複查如果你對考試成績不滿意,你可以在你的考試中心申請複議 (成績複查)。複議申請必須在考試日期後的六周內提出。你可以選擇哪個考試部分需要複議。這項服務是要收費的,但如果複議後任何部分的分數提高了,則會退還費用。

仔細閱讀報名網站上的所有資訊。填寫書面申請表或線上報名表,然後遞交到你最近的考試中心。你需要附上考試費或線上付款。確保你輸入身份證明文件(護照或身份證)號碼,並在申請表上附上清楚的身份證明文件彩色影本或掃描件。身份證明文件必須在登記時是有效的,在考試當天必須出示同一個身份證明文件。
