I. Tenders are invited for the supply of hos­

pital diets and foodstuffs for Government Hos­pitals at Jerusalem, Beit Safafa, Bethlehem, Beit Jala, Beersheba, Jaffa, Ramie, Tel Aviv Hospital (Yarkon), Gaza, Benei Beraq, Haifa, Safad, Nablus, Jaffa Mental Hospital (Qiriafc Arabia), and for such other hospitals, insti­tutions, etc. as may be authorised by the Di­rector of Medical Services f o r the period of 6 months viz. 1st October, 1946, to 31st March, 1947, inclusive.

2. Quotations will be accepted for : — (a) All Government Hospitals, or (b) Any of them separately,

and shall not be considered unless items 2(a) and (b) are tendered for by each tender sepa­rately.

3. Tender forms and detailed requirements c a n be obtained on application in writing to the Director of Medical Services, Headquarters, Department of Health, Jaffa Road, Jerusalem, stating for which hospital or tender.

4. Tenders should be submitted in sealed en­velopes supplied by the Department, addressed to Director of Medical Services together with a bank guarantee approved by Government in the amount fo LP. 1,000. Such guarantees should contain a clause stipulating that any claim under the guarantee may be made within 30 days after the. date of expiry of the guarantee, a n d with tenders should reach the office of the Department of Health, Jaffa Road, Jerusalem, n o t later than 9 a.m. on Monday, 2 n d Septem­ber, 1946.

5. Envelopes should be clearly marked "Ten­ders for Hospital Diets".

6. Tenders received without bank guarantee or defaced or amended or received late may not be considered.

7. Tenderers should state when submitting their tenders that they are in possession of va­lid Food Control Licences and have licensed
