What are we here for?

Levitt Bernstein is an award winning practice of architects, urban designers and landscape architects. We have designed a wide range of successful residential projects. We are specialists in working with local communities and building on local knowledge and needs. We have designed and delivered sustainable and liveable environments.

Levitt Bernstein and Westminster City Council will work with you to identify what improvements could be made in the area.

Before we start, the project team want to listen to your views so that we can understand your day-to-day experience in the neighbourhood. Today, we also want your ideas about how things can be improved within your area.

Scope of the project:

HOMES FOR OLDER PEOPLE

The south of Westminster needs new and better housing for older people.

Darwin House currently provides 30 community supportive housing units for older people.

However the facilities are becoming increasingly out of date and we would like to provide new, modern homes for older people.

We also want to look at opportunities for additional residential, nursing and extra-care supported housing provision in the area.

We want to hear your views.

SUSSEX STREET PLAY PROJECT

The Sussex Street play project is a valuable local community asset used by parents and children from Churchill Gardens and the surrounding area.

However, the facility needs investment to bring it up to modern standards.

What do you think? What would you like to see?

FACILITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

What facilities would you like to see provided for younger people in the area?

BALMORAL PUB AND SURROUNDING LAND

The Balmoral pub site is currently derelict and has been an eyesore for many years. We think we can include this site in the proposals for Churchill Gardens.

What are your thoughts about this site?

CHURCHILL GARDENS PRIMARY SCHOOL

We would like to improve educational facilities in the area.
