Enjoy a welcome tea.Start your jorney in Portugal by a memorable visit at the historical Cacela-Velha, a whitewashed village that shows how Algarve was more than half a century ago. Cacela-Velha it’s a great village to have your �rst contact with the Portuguese culture and traditional food.You will be welcomed by our guide who will share a wealth of historical knowledge you’ll be amazed how much you’ll learn just on the �rst day.Dinner will be in Cacela-Velha or Praia Verde.Overnight 4* hotel in Vila Galé Tavira or similar. 2nd dayBefore breakfast 20 min. of yoga, pilates, or equivalent morning exercise for body and mind. You will start your day by discovering Tavira - one of the most emblematic cities in Algarve full of Roman, Arab and Christian heritage.Have an amazing food experience by visiting the traditional market with our chef as he buys the �sh and the ingredients for your lunch. Have a cooking lesson to learn how to prepare a Cataplana – a traditional and healthy meal cooked with seafood and vegetables. In the afternoon discover the city center, narrow streets, fantastic bridges and several churches. In the afternoon you can take an optional cycling tour on the salt beds of Ria Formosa. Depending on the season, our specialized guide will lead you to observe wild mushrooms or numerous bird species. During spring you will explore the typical plants of the marshlands.To �nish your day, have a sunset drink with a light �nger meal in a convent which became a hotel. 3rd dayToday, instead of Yoga we prepared a 1-hour Tai Chi class. Have the rest of the morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities the surroundings or go shopping. Lunch at leisureAs a morning optional programme, after breakfast you can take a fantastic boat tour with lunch. The boat departs from Vila Real de Santo António a strategically border city for the defense of Algarve and Portugal for centuries. After a river boat tour in the river Guadiana till Odeleite – that divides Portugal and Spain we will stop to have a traditional lunch with animation. In the afternoon we all visit Castro Marim and �nish your day in the Revelim de Santo António (in Castro Marim) with a local entertain-

ment performance and �nger food specialties from the region.Overnight 4* hotel in Vila Galé Tavira or similar.

4th dayBefore breakfast 20 min. of yoga, pilates, or equivalent morning exercise for body and mindFree all day on leisure to discover the town at your own pace, enjoy some shopping or the SPA facilities of the hotel. As an optional full day programme, you will have a fully dedicated day in Ria Formosa. Elected as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal, this is a salty lagoon protected from the sea by 5 barrier-islands and 2 peninsulas, and is a paradise for birdwatchers. It’s also one of the most important areas for aquatic birds in Portugal, hosting on a regular basis more than 20,000 birds during the wintering period. After transfer to Olhão, the capital of Ria Formosa, we will have a walking tour in the park of Ria Formosa and later a boat trip to discover the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol. Due to its shallow waters, the lagoon is also a nursery in such several oceanic species spend their early stages of life.Lunch in the �shing community of Culatra Island. full of history, but also a vibrant place with lots going on. There you can visit the golden church of Saint Anthony and the �rst slave market of Europe. This was also the place where slaves were educated to become translators for further explorations of the African continent by the Portuguese explorations. As an optional programme, we will Visit Sagres. To visit Sagres is to wonder back in time to the era of the Portuguese Discoveries. Visit the 15th century fortress and the Cape St. Vincent (the most southwest-erly point of Europe) known as “The end of the World”, and pass in the most powerful European Lighthouse.

Together with our guide, you will also visit the Sagres Biogenetic reserve with its promontory, sheltering a great biodiversity of species and natural habitats, many of which are internationally unique. The autumn bird migrations and storks nesting in the cli�s are asight of immeasurable beauty. During the morning, enjoy a hiking tour in São Bartolomeu de Messines with a pit stop to observe the Iberian Lynx and visit a traditional distillery that produces arbutus berry liqueur.Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.In the afternoon visit Silves, the cathedral and the castle of Silves, one of the best preserved of the Moorish forti�cations in Portugal, built between the 8th and 13th century. By 201 B.C. the Romans conquered Silves, transforming it into a citadel of their occupation, and commer-cial centre that prospered for the next �ve centuries.Tonight you will have a farewell dinner with live music in a local
