FAITH FORMATION

INFORMATION

Faith Formation Classes are held on

Sundays from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at

the Parish Center. The classes run from

September through May.

A new registration form MUST be completed for all

present students as well as new students to attend our

program. Parents must bring the following documents

when registering:

- Baptism Certificate;

- Birth Certificate if child/ren is not baptized;

- If a child attended Religious Education classes at

another parish a transfer letter is required.

For more information about registration or if you would

be interested in volunteering for the Faith Formation

Introduction to the Liturgy of the Word

The Chosen People turned their backs on God and wor-

shiped a molten calf. Saint Paul, before his conversion,

persecuted Christians. The prodigal son abandoned his

father and squandered his inheritance. All three could

easily have been punished, but instead all are wel-

comed back to the fold by our Lord, like the lost sheep

in Jesus’ parable. Let us listen in God’s word for that

promise of reconciliation.

How can I imitate the father in Jesus’ parable? Whom

can I welcome back?

Introducción a la Liturgia de la Palabra

El pueblo escogido le dio la espalda a Dios y adoraron

a un becerro de metal. San Pablo persiguió a los cris-

tianos antes de su conversion. El hijo pródigo abandon

a su padre y despilfarró su herencia. Bien pudieron ser

castigados los tres, pero todos fueron bien recibidos de

nuevo al rebaño del Señor, como la oveja perdida en la

parabola de Jesús. Escuchemos en la palabra de Dios

esa promesa de reconciliación.
