CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM REGISTRATION & RE-REGISTRATION FOR THE 2018-2019 YEAR

Now that we are in the month of August, the start of our children’s Faith formation Program is only a few weeks away. Here in the Diocese of Brooklyn, it is imperative that our young people who do not attend a Catholic Academy participate in our Faith Formation Program continuously until they receive the sacrament of Confirmation .

REGISTRATION FOR ALL GRADES WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DATES::

• SUNDAY, AUGUST 26TH FROM 10:30 A.M.. UNTIL 1:00 P.M. IN THE PARISH HALL

• SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH FROM 10:30 A.M. UNTIL 1:00 P.M. IN THE PARISH HALL

REGISTRATION WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE WITH SISTER PAT IN THE RECTORY FROM 8 A.M.– 1P.M. ON THE FOLLOWING DATES: • MONDAY, AUGUST 27 • MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 • MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17 THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION / RE-REGISISTRATION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

• CHILD’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE – IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

• CHILD’S BAPTISM CERTIFICATE – IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION

• CHILD’S BAPTISM AND COMMUNION CERTIFICATE—IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION.

FEES:

• $ 150.00 FOR 1 (ONE) CHILD

• $ 180.00 FOR 2 (TWO) CHILDREN

• $ 210.00 FOR 3 (THREE) OR MORE CHILDREN

If your child is coming from another parish, we will need a transcript from their former Faith Formation Program so that they can be placed in the appropriate class.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA):

RCIA Classes for adults who have never been

baptized, who have been baptized in another

Christian tradition or who have been baptized as

Catholics but did not receive First Communion or

Confirmation will start on Sunday, September

16th at 10:15am. Classes will be held in the

St. Saviour Catholic Academy Library. If you are

interested in attending these classes, please

contact the Parish Office or pick-up a brochure in

the Narthex of the Church to obtain more info.
