Monday During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. Exodus 14:24 Tuesday Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” Exodus 14:26 Wednesday But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. Exodus 14:29 Thursday And when the Israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant Exodus 14:31 Friday Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord: “I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea.” Exodus 15:1 Saturday “The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” Exodus 15:2 Sunday “The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name.” Exodus 15:3

Eco Church from Anne Egan

As part of the ‘Renewing our Vision’ project, a group of us met on Tuesday night this week to discuss the possibility of St Mike’s joining ‘Eco Church’, an award scheme for churches in England and Wales that want to demonstrate that they

care for God’s earth. It is set up and run by A Rocha UK. “From meditation to insulation, from location to invocation, loving God and his creation should impact everything in our church lives… Eco Church will help us ‘go green’ in all areas of our church life.” This could be a helpful way to focus

our energies in the area of Social Justice and Environment. Read more at arocha.org.uk
