WELCOME TO MOUNT LOUISA HOUSE OF
PRAISE. If you are visiting with us today
We would love to connect with you via the yellow connect card in your newsletter
and in person.
Please make yourself known to someone whose picture is on the wall as you come
in and that person will welcome you personally, make sure you know where
facilities, morning tea and supper and other activities are held and introduce you to
some other people.
We strive to be a warm, welcoming congregation who accept and love anyone and
everyone without question.
Please feel welcome among us today.
Ps 114:8 Tremble, O earth, at the presence
of the Lord, at the presence of the God of
Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool, the
hard rock into springs of water.

Senior’s Morning Tea
At MLHoP on Thursday 21st September
at 9.30am
Speaker will be Geoff Broekman and his topic is
“Don’t miss the Rapture”.
Please see Lola Cole, Noeleen Strang, Diane
Haines or Sue Berry for more information.
Bring your friends – all welcome.
IT’S SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
We will have colouring books at the back of the
church, along with Play dough, puzzles and some
biccies to keep the nippers content.
Please feel free to bring your little ones up – the
sliding door will be closed almost all the way to
block any noise and Margaret P will supervise the
older ones.
David will also make sure to involve your children
in a “family” style service.
See you there.
The Assembly of Confessing Congregations
I just want to thank all who cooked, cleaned,
served, did rubbish collection runs, cleaned toilets
and generally helped us to make Mount Louisa
House of Praise a wonderful venue for this
conference.
Many people commented on the good food and
amount of it. Many appreciated our efficiency and
servant hearts. I couldn’t have done it alone. And
why would I want to – the things we talked about
while we chopped, grated and sliced and the
laughter we shared were a huge part of our
success.
I’m so proud to be a part of such a strong united
church who work together as well as we worship
together. Gratefully yours
Margaret Pohlmann
NOTICE OF MLHoP AGM
Dennis Mulville (Congregation Chair) and I propose that our Congregational Meeting incorporating our Annual General
Meeting will be on Sunday 29th October directly after church. The service is planned to be a little shorter that day, and
there will be time for a quick cuppa between the service and the meeting. (Changed from the 22nd)
A list of those nominated for election to various positions will be provided in writing from the 15th of October onwards (the
closing date for nominations is Friday the 13th).
Nomination forms are available from the stewards at Sunday Services until the 8th of October, or from the church office
until the 13th. Any Confirmed Member or Member-in-Association may nominate any other Confirmed Member or
Member-in-Association for a position. If you want to nominate someone, speak to them about whether they would be
prepared to be nominated. Both the nominator and the nominee will need to fill in the appropriate sections of the
nomination form, and sign it. David Pohlmann, Pastor
