GENERAL NOTES

Situation Gorsty Fields Farm has excellent national road network access via the A50 Stoke/Derby link. The Farm lies only 2 ½ miles from the main dual carriageway at Foston Junction (this junction adjoins Dove Valley Park). From the M1 at Junction 24 and Derby take the A50 towards Uttoxeter and Stoke on Trent and at the Foston Junction adjoining Dove Valley Park leave the dual carriageway signposted Foston and Church Broughton. Turn back over the dual carriageway and follow the slip road down turning right (into Uttoxeter old road signposted Church Broughton). After 100 yards turn right signposted Church Broughton into Woodyard Lane and continue north passing the Merlin Building. After approximately ½ mile travel round the bends with Church Broughton village lying on the right and take the Ashbourne road still travelling north with Gorsty Fields Farm lying ¾ mile on the left. From Uttoxeter and Stoke on Trent pick up the A50 and travel towards Derby and at Sudbury roundabout continue on the A50 towards Foston, Hatton and Derby. Travel under the pedestrian bridge after ¾ mile (do not take Uttoxeter old road). At the first main junction turn left signposted Hatton and Dove Valley Park and 50 yards round the corner on the slip road turn immediately left signed Foston and Church Broughton into Uttoxeter old road. After 100 yards turn right up Woodyard Lane signposted Church Broughton. Continue past the Merlin Building on the left and after ½ mile travel round the bends with Church Broughton village lying on the right and take the Ashbourne road still travelling north with Gorsty Fields Farm lying ¾ mile on the left.

Cheques/Payments-Payment Is Required On Sale Day Intending Purchasers not known to the Auctioneers must produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable Banker’s reference. Under new regulations introduced by the Banks, such references are now only obtainable by the Bank’s customers themselves and have to be obtained by them direct from their Bank and forwarded to us. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

FOREWORD

This genuine dispersal sale at Gorsty Fields Farm arises as a result of Stephen and Lisa Fox selling the property and giving up active farming. Virtually all of the major items on the holding including all tractors, telehandler, slurry tanker and FYM spreader have been owned from new and many locals will know that the Whitecloud herd of Pedigree Holsteins were dispersed in 2016 from the holding. There is a full range of grassland associated machinery together with all the sundries and effects associated with an active dairy unit. The stars of the show include the New Holland T6.175 4WD Electro Command which has undertaken less than 1500 hours work from new together with the other tractors, JCB Telehandler and the little used Shelbourne 2000 Powerspread Dairy V Spreader and a very high specification High Spec VT 2300 Vacuum Tanker which comes complete with hydraulic swan neck front infilling facility. In addition to the items from the farm there are various included lots from local vendors and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine dispersal sale.
