• Nathan and Gad are no less inspired than Samuel even though their books are not in the bible

Second Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

• The Canon (or the measuring stick) is constructed as the standard for all other inspired writings. It is the standard of living for the Christian. The same Holy Spirit inspires all prophets. All prophets are measured by the Bible

Jude, verses 14-15

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

• Although Enoch’s book didn’t make it into the official Bible, his writings are accepted as from God, being quoted here in Jude.
