COPING WITH DEPRESSION

JANUARY 14, 7-8:30 PM Join us for a 4-week faith-

based study. We will learn how understanding life's emotions can shed light on the causes of depression and we will discuss

practical and proven strategies to cope with it. The group will read the

book Coping with Depression by Siang-Yang Tan and John Ortberg.

Join Rev. Tom Berlin for an update on Floris UMC, the UMC denomination

and our three 1Church4All workstreams. Tom will share

information about what's happening in the denomination, as the UMC prepares for General Conference

2020. He will also provide an update on Floris UMC and the next steps being implemented related to the work of the diversity, special needs

and LGBTQ+ workstream teams.

DIVORCECARE SUPPORT GROUP STARTING JANUARY 23 THURSDAYS, 7-8:30 PM

We invite you to become part of a small support group of people who

are also experiencing separation and divorce. You will meet others

who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer you

to discuss ways to build supportive relationships, while providing
