Check in from 3.00 pm on Tuesday 24th December. Upon arrival you will receive a glass of warm mulled wine! Relax, unwind and cherish the afternoon in our cosy lounges in front of our open log fires prior to your Christmas Eve dinner.

On Christmas Day our continental buffet breakfast will be served from 8.00 am in the Main Hall, with relaxed seating in our luxurious lounge areas. Residents are invited to gather in the Entrance Hall Bar from 12.00 noon onwards for a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Our 5 course Christmas lunch followed by tea and coffee will be served at your designated time (arranged at time of booking). After lunch, traditional board games will be available from Reception whilst Christmas films are played in our library. In the evening we will be serving a light buffet supper.

Boxing Day is a day to do as you please. You may wish to venture out of the hotel and enjoy picturesque Grange-over-Sands and its lovely surrounding areas or spend a leisurely day relaxing in our Thermal Journey. Why not book a treatment too? Boxing Day Lunch, served carvery style, will be available from 12.00 – 2.00 pm, which guests are welcome to book for an additional £24.95 per person. Our fantastic restaurant dinner service and menu will restart in the evening.

Friday 27th December is time to depart, check out is until 11.00 am, and make sure you enjoy our hearty full English breakfast before you set off on your journey home!

New Year is a spectacular occasion at Netherwood when we welcome families and friends from far and wide to share the celebrations.

Check in on Tuesday 31st December 2019 from 3.00pm. A welcoming selection of tea’s or coffees or indulge in a mulled wine served in front of our open log fires. Make yourself at home, enjoy the afternoon and join us in the Entrance Hall Bar for a drink and canape reception prior to your Gala Dinner, commencing from 7.00 pm. You can relax and unwind at your table or in one of our luxurious lounges. Or you can dance the night away in our ballroom, the choice is yours! We have a first class male vocalist joining us this year, Mark Yates, who specialises in Soul and Mowtown music alongside Mike Jackson who is our DJ. We will be celebrating at midnight to welcome the New Year with a glass of Champagne.

New Year’s Day will begin with a full breakfast before our optional scenic New Year’s Day walk up Hampsfell. We will be serving New Year’s Day breakfast from 8.30 – 10.30am. New Year’s Day Carvery Lunch will be served from 1.00 pm until 3.00 pm - this is at an additional cost at £24.95 per person with a complimentary glass of prosecco upon arrival! Our fantastic restaurant service and menu will restart in the evening.
