The eighth floor of this store becomes Santa’s headquarters or office during christmas. All comes since the recording of “Miracle in 34th street” film.
December 31st at Times Square
They countdown the time for the end of the year in big digital clocks placed
on neon lights in the buildings. Times Square has music, artists and
lots of people for 9 hours before the clock strikes

A big illuminated ball is placed on top of building one at Times square
The ball illuminates and falls down at twelve o'clock.
People go crazy. There are fireworks.
Buildings are so big the ball looks tiny
Four minutes before 12:00 the crowds sing along “Imagine” by John Lennon as a peace wish. Its really moving!
