Christmas Greetings 2014

Last year, I celebrated Christmas in Rome. Now, as Christmas 2014 approaches, I would like to share scenes and music from the Christmas Mass celebrated by Pope Francis at St Peter’s that I was fortunate to attend. I travelled with friends to East Europe in May of this year. The outstanding highlight was the ten days we spent in Poland. The Nativity scene on the opposite page is one of twelve side panels of an altarpiece that is the largest of its kind in all of Europe – located in the 14th century St Mary’s Basilica in Krakow.
