Christmas 2021 at Café des Amis We would like to invite you to book your Christmas party or festive celebration at Café Des Amis this year, where our ethos is all about sharing good food with friends, whilst enjoying the warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious cocktails, friendly service, vibrant decor and great Latin music. We have created a menu that not only draws on the exotic and vibrant flavours of Mexico but also the fresh and healthy ingredients of the Mediterranean. Most of our dishes are mild but you can make your meal as spicy as you like by adding one of our salsas. For our Christmas menus we have selected starters, main courses and desserts that are mostly made to be shared, creating an informal and festive meal. We are accustomed to accommodating large celebration parties, and believe in complementing our customers’ meal with friendly and efficient service. Making your Booking: 1. Check how many will be in your group, then phone us to see whether we have space on your preferred date and time. To secure the booking, a deposit of £10 per head is payable. This will be refunded against your final bill. 2. Once you have made your booking, please ask each person in your group to tick their choice for each course on the relevant booking form. 4. We suggest you take a copy of your booking form for your own reference. 5. Please note that it is our policy to provide one bill at the end of the meal. Antojitos for two Mixed starters including meatballs in chilpotle sauce, duck tacos, pork & chorizo tamale, gruyere cheese fondue,

Yucatan style lamb, slow cooked with achiote, garlic, orange and lime juice. Rice and pineapple habanero salsa

Roast Vegetable Tostada Mediterranean vegetables roasted in olive oil, refried beans, feta, pesto, chilpotle salsa, crisp corn tortillas

Green pepper cream sauce

Paella (for 2 or more) Chicken, pork chorizo, king prawns, mussels and squid cooked in spicy saffron rice

Fajitas (for 2 or more) Roll your own tacos with soft wheat tortillas, salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, salad, black beans,

jalapenos and one of the following sizzling dishes: • Pan Fried Chicken Breast Marinated in garlic, lime and oregano.

• Seared Ribeye Steak, marinated in olive oil and chimayo chilli (+£5 surcharge). • Crispy Duck Confit Orange, soy, rosemary and honey glaze.

• Yucatan Pork Belly Orange, garlic and habanero glaze. Chimayo spiced crackling. • Flat Mushrooms Pan-fried in a garlic and ancho chilli butter. • Pulled Lamb Shoulder Slow cooked in beer, tomatillo salsa.
